Part two

Hey Everyone!

Today is the date! At least when I am writing this in my notebook it is November 20. It is the world premiere of New Moon. Can´t believe that time went by so fast. They are really making the most of it as they have already started shooting for Eclipse.

I read my first review of New Moon just a couple of hours ago. The reviewer gave it a weak 2 out of 5. At first I thought that she was crazy, but then I had to remind myself that I have not actually seen it yet.

I don´t know when I will be able to see it. I guess the cinemas will be smacked full for weeks. I really want to see it, but I am fully prepared to wait. Maybe I will see it with Vic when I go and see her after christmas.

Now the papers say that they have proof that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are dating. They keep denying it, but I have to admit it, the photos look kind of suspicious. I suspect that they have some sort of clause in their contracts that says that they can´t go public with their relationship.

It seems like they only have time to hang out with each other and nobody else, no wonder hormons are flying high. They have intense schedules and a small area to exist within without crazy fans attacking them..do I really need to go on; probably very clear to everyone.

Seems like the thing between Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner is moving forward. Good for them.

(Nevertheless...ever thine!)

Ps. Ok, now it is November 22...

Just an act

I really thought that I got over it! But I haven´t really. The closer we get to "New Moon" I realise that I really haven´t. Probably messed up for life.

I went online earlier today to see some pictures of the upcoming movie. That opened a world of pain, but really, I am over myself with that. Getting tired myself of seeing me going on and on about it.

It was interesting to see some of the new cast members. I am sure they are gonna look magical all costumed up and with lots of dramatic make-up.

I read an interview before with Rob Pattinson. Funny story really from that interview. Apparently the only one he is on the same level with is no other than Kristen Stewart. They are sharing this incredible thing and they are the only ones that understand what they are going through. I can read between the lines. OK, you love her - we get it! It is like this; we had a performer here and after 10 years he finally admits to being gay. Everyone already knew that. Some things are just so obvious - there is no point in denying it either.

Another funny story really. I didn´t know that Kristen Stewart had final say at the auditions when Robert Pattinson was cast for the role as Edward Cullen. Funny story which I won´t develop further, but yeah...funny story...

Robert Pattinson says that girls are screaming for Edward Cullen and not for him. I wonder who I would be screaming for? I like the character Robert Pattinson more and more. He doesn´t seem to be turned [yet] by the Hollywood bullshit. But one can´t help but to ponder over how much of it is true?

(Nevertheless...true or not...ever thine!)

Ps. If your life revolves around acting out characters, how long does it take for your character to become an act?

Fangs

Hello there blog!

I shouldn´t make excuses for not writing in you for so long, but I am swamped with work at the moment. Hardy have time to think!

So much has happened with Robert Pattinson and yet nothing as well. Ok, that sounds weird even to me, and I am used to it. Firstly, Rob and Kristen - more and more sources tell us that they are a couple and they are seen more together, hence the statement that much has happened. But then nothing has happened as well because they won´t go public with anything, hence my second statement.

Sources also reveal that Kristen has turned into a real super diva, and that Rob remains her only friend. I have got this feeling that he idealises her. She is his [rock]goddess. I wonder...

Yesterday I saw in an article that Rob can´t get a date since every girls screames for "Edward" and not for him. Sure that could partly be true, but I wonder in what category he is selecting? He can´t make me believe that he would actually consider dating a fan. I know I have been on this subject before, but it is so interesting. I think celebs go out with each other because they know that, that world is a world of fake. Maybe they see through the fake easier or perhaps see each other as they are, rather than into something the rest of us wish they were.

Speaking of vamps by the way. My country is so behind so haven´t showed "True Blood" until now, but hey! I love that fang show. True blood has a raw, sexy, naughty thing going on and Twillight is all about pure love, mystical, and beauty. I saw a poster today for "New Moon". My heart started ache, I am fucking messed up. Sometimes it feels ridicolous the whole thing...talk about problems only wealthy nations have...

(Nevertheless...ever thine!)

Ps. I love the word fang banger.

Hooked on a feeling...

Hey all!

OMG! I can´t believe that it has been so long since I wrote anything here. I should be ashamed really! Someone may have thought that my obsession must be over cause I have not written. Let me tell you - it is not! What I have discovered though, is that there are people secretly obsessing as well. Me and my friend Jennie got talking about it one night (I thought this girl was just kind of half obsessed, but there were more), and she said that she can´t watch "Twilight" anymore - too painful. That is just what I am feeling. Can´t read the books either. When "New Moon" comes we are gonna open up to that pain,, and we will love it, but there will also be pain.

I know this sounds mad, but I don´t think we are alone. I think we are a specific group we who are obsessed although in secret. My friend Jennie says that when she sees in the paper that there is gossip about say Robert Pattinson, her heart jumps and she almost avoids reading those pages. We are aware that is it is crazy, and we can hardly believe it ourselves.

Moving on...is Robert Pattinson dating Kristen Stewart or not? Maybe she couldn´t resist him anymore. Very understandable! When all four films are done, will their bond change? People say he is obsessed with her and would marry her if he could. She is also the one girl in all the world that would say no to him. Still?

(Nevertheless...ever thine!)

Ps. Only 4 months left. Be still my heart...(why not continue to sound like a crazy person when I started off so good!)

DVD-arrival

Hey people!

Yesterday I got it! I am now a proud owner of a DVD featuring "Twilight". Now it really feels like the first book has gone full circle. Only three more to go!

I did something with this DVD that I have never done before; I watched the extra material. It was very interesting to see "the deleated scenes" as well as "the extended scenes". Seeing Rob Pattinson talking about his character Edward Cullen was not too bad either!

I just realised something very obvious. Rob Pattinson will always be Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart will always be Bella. It is relatable to my theory (see: "The Robert Pattinson theory"), but it is more than that. I am trying to grasp a point here. I read that the reason Rob doesn´t date is because he is so obsessed with Kristen Stewart. They did this movie together and have three more to go. Some kind of bond must no doubt exist between them now. Then it is always debatable how much that goes into this connection. Ok, this might seem like yibberish, but I know what I mean. Is not that what a blog is about? A person writing one and the person reading it doesn´t understand a thing. Only joking (better to write that out, people are blind to sarcastic irony most of the time). I can´t see why Kristen Stewart doesn´t want to date Rob really. It is like Bella choosing Mike Newton over Edward Cullen. It is just crazy. Übercrazy (no, I am not German).

(Nevertheless...crazy or not...ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. Fresh news: Robert Pattinson doesn´t want to date apparently because he is afraid that he will mess up that girl´s life. An interesting observation, but I think a lot of girls would risk it. Shit happens all the time so why not take a chance? Or should we translate it as this?: It is Kristen Stewart or no one!

When I hear your voice

Hey people!

I am going to make a promise that I won´t keep. I am going to write in my blog more frequently. Yeah, that one is not going to last for very long...Apparently I know myself.

Did I mention that I got my books back from Jennie? She didn´t understand how I survived without them. I hardly did. Can hardly survive with having them here too. I got them from her like two weeks ago and I have read all four of them again. Just finished with "Breaking Dawn yesterday afternoon. I feel like reading them all again. There must be some magic attached to them. Maybe just burn them? Or not.

To jump from that burning subject to something else. I hear Robert Pattinson stink...apparently smell really bad. Maybe that is old news by now. I have not read that much about it since Rob gave his short reply to this, "I do shower". Simple and short. A good defence. I think he does shower. We all know he stopped washing his hair a while ago. Admit to anything controversial and that is what you get. "Oh yeah, he doesn´t shower his hair so that probably means that he doesn´t shower at all". A big load of ´bs´ if you ask me. Perhaps Perez Hilton should get some more reliable sources..? I read this one small comment that Rob has a problem with a gland. Supposedly he had multiple surgeries done to fix it. I don´t know. You can´t believe anything you read.

Well...true fact: no one is perfect! If Kelly Clarkson can take a piss in the shower, then Robert Pattinson can smell. That is right; they are just humans. Who has not pissed in the shower, or gone a couple of days without showering? Even stars have a human nature.

(Nevertheless...smelly or not...ever thine!)

Ps. My birthday is coming up, April 23. Nothing great about that, but it also means that April 29 is soon here!: Dvd- release for "Twilight".

The Twilight talk

Hey all!

(This piece is not freshhly written. I wrote this in my notebook like a month ago..and now fineally I write it here. Yawn at myself).

About a week (more like a month then) ago I talked to my friend Jennie. She admitted to have seen "Twilight" without me! Then I had to confess that I had done the same. She said that there were so many good DvD-rips out there now and I should download as well. I am not very hightechy, but I did and now I have seen Twilight soooo many times! Like the day after I downloaded it I watched it like three times, not in a row, but still. Or as my friend Vic said, "you are crazy, but I like you anyway".

I like the movie a lot really, but I can see that some lines are a little too much chopped out of their context. Like the scene where they have biology and Edward fineally introduces himself to Bella. It goes something like this:

E: Hello. I am Edward Cullen. You are Bella?
B: Yes.
The teacher gives out the assignment. Bella grabs the microscope, looks at Edward and says:
B: You were gone!

That was a pretty weird thing to say after just being introduced. Sure she was frustrated from Edward being totally weird in the first biology scene, but come on!

Anyway, I like the movie in itself, but to appreciate all the nuances, you have to read the books. I read this one review made by this culture wannabe bitch. She didn´t like the movie, but her problems with it mostly came from not reading the books I think. She said that the fang gang were strutting around like pretty models. The books do say that vampire have perfect features. There were many things she didn´t get. I have no problems with people disliking the movie or certain scenes, but hey, get the story right first!

(Nevertheless...right or not...ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. I like Taylor Lautner more and more as Jacob Black. I am very interested to see how he will develop Black´s character in "New Moon".

For as long as we both shall breathe...

Hey all!

Guess what landed in the mailbox just this past Tuesday! Yes - "Breaking Dawn"! By Thursday I had read it through. I also had to do less important stuff too such as work..eat...sleep. The book was over too quickly!

Overall, I think it was very good. I love the relationship between Bella & Edward. Or rather, I love all the relationships in the books. They are so romantic in the way that they kind of mate for life, or for all etirnity that is. If Bella would die, Edward wouldn´t greef for six months and then move on. It is Bella or no one! That seems to be the case for almost every character - Carlisle & Esme, Alice & Jasper Hale etc.

The interesting thing about "Breaking Dawn" is that we as readers get a very pink picture of the whole vampire thing. Bella turns into a vampire and what happens? Nada! She doesn´t turn into a monster and no demon is taking over her body. Life is just super and they are all so very happy. Although new born vampires are impossible to control, Bella has an enormous force of self control. Bella told us herself that she thought she would lose some aspects of who she as, but she doesn´t change at all really. She is just a new member of the fang gang.

Another thing, don´t get me started with the whole Jacob thing. I am quite conflicted here. At one point I love the fact that Jacob got his mojo working for Nessie, but at the same time...that was very convenient. No more conflicts among themselves to work through except for external influences.

However,thinking about this I just remembered which age group this book is targeting. In my local book store it is on the shelf that says "youth books age 12-15". So...it is no wonder that solutions to conflicts are conveniently handled and the vampire thing toned down.

So now the Cullen saga is over(?) My friend Vic was talking about some fifth book that might come out. I would love for that rumour to be true. Soon I will buy the books in English as well and start all over. And must get my other books back from Jennie!

(Nevertheless...ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. With so many books about the Cullens, I am glad to say that Robert Pattinson has a long career as a vampire ahead of him! :)

If I Could Dream...

Hey all!

I was at my friend Vic the other day. She wanted us to have lunch together, and just like that she also mentions "oh yeah, I downloaded a cam-version of Twilight that we can watch". Knowing what cam-versions can be like (most of the time) I told her that I didn´t want to see Twilight with a disfunctional version. She convinced me that we should see it anyway since the cam-version wasn´t that bad. There you have it ladies and gentlemen! I have seen Twilight on an ok cam-version!

So what did I think? I think it was quite good overall. I don´t want to sound evil or jealous, but I am not too thrilled over Kristen Stewart as Bella. However, I like the casting in general, all the Cullens have the right actors. A character that I really came to love after seeing the movie was Bella´s dad! Loving the work done by the actor (don´t remember his name now).

So many ´movie experts´ have been criticizing the special effects and said that they were badly done, but I am totally disagreeing with that. So basically, I am right and they are wrong.
I think they could have done the film a bit longer, because some scenes felt a little bit chopped. Although, it must be a really difficult thing to do. You have a book which is filled with so much, and you kind of have to compress that, and still make it great..

I just thought about my friend Jennie. I can´t tell her that I have seen Twilight without her. But I am not sure that I will see her before the DVD comes out so it will be ok. She still have my books btw. The fourth book is coming out about 2 weeks!

Must mention another weird, funny thing. Just a couple of nights ago it was the Oscar´s. I googled it to see if Robert Pattinson had attended it. I kind of thought that I wouldn´t get any matches since maybe he wasn´t popular enough for that yet, but there he was giving interviews on the red carpet, presenting an award on stage and sitting just behind Michey Rourke! Ok, I get it - Robert Pattinson really is big in Hollywood. But, even though all of this was going on I basically looked at him and said out loud "yay, his hair isn´t that short"! Haha, I think Robert Pattinson´s hair will haunt me and him forever! :D

(Nevertheless...Oscar material or not...ever thine!)

Kiss & Tell

Hey all!

I have great news! At least great news for me. The last book is going to be released next month. I wanted to read it in my native tongue. As you can notice, I am not that comfy with English. ;) I am most definitely going to read them in English later on though. It will be like starting all over again. Neat!

I was talking to my friend Jennie the other day. I lent her the books (not an easy thing to do)! She thinks that the English titles really sucks. I kind of agree with her, they are not especially innovative. Furthermore, I think the translator made a smashing job. The titles in our language are super!

Now that Jennie started obsessing over these books she wants to see "Twilight" more than ever. I am right there with her! As mentioned before, Jennie and I are the last on the planet not to have seen it. Pathetic really. Or is it pathetic wanting to see it so badly? Can´t decide there really.

I did something the other day that I haven´t done for maybe 2 weeks. I googled Robert Pattinson. There were lots of news about him dating this girl Annelyse Schoenberger. The rumour has it that they have been dating since July last year. So all of those interviews where he was saying that no one wanted him; he was just basically lying? I have no problems with people lying, I guess he just wanted to protect his personal life BUT, he sounded so sincere about the whole thing. He was like a breath of fresh air. Maybe it was just another part to play?

If the rumour is true they have been dating for approx. 7-8 months. Hey, that is not dating - that is a relationship. I heard once that a relationship reaches a specific point after 8 months: either you are through with each other, nothing but a fling, or it deepens into that thing we call love. Which one will it be for you Robert Pattinson?

(Nevertheless..committed or not..ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. Nothing wrong with a bit of love. I hear that is all you need.

Final cut for Robert Pattinson?

Hey all!

I just read the most depressing thing! The dvd-release for "Twilight" is not until April 29! APRIL 29!! That is too far away...how can they torture me so? If I were to find a copy tomorrow and it was dubbed in Italian with only Japanese subtexting, I would still buy it. That is how bad/badly (I can´t decide which one..I so adore the English language sometimes...) I want to see it!

I am going to do a bit of a jump here. I found myself thinking about Robert Pattinson´s hair. Everyone is talking about it so why not me? It has been put off far too long. Me talking about Robert Pattinson´s hair is like the dvd-release.

I think... (drum rolls)...that Robert Pattinson should not have cut his hair! The main reason for this is that with short hair you can hardly see his wonderful hair colour. There is some colour in there which I love. Another reason: I think he looked better basically with a bit longer hair. It made him edgier, hotter, and more manly. This short hair gives him a bit of a boyish look to be honest.

Oh my God, I have adressed the issue of Robert Pattinson´s hair. My life is now fullfilled (sorry - bad sarcastic joke there).

I can understand him cutting it though. Maybe he started to feel that people were talking more and more about his hair and less about him as an actor? Perhaps it is a bit hazardous to have a trademark. People should foremost say how good you are on what you do and not focus on the external.

I remember a few years ago when Jennifer Aniston got really popular. But...people were not going on about how good of an actress she was on "friends", but how cool it would be to get "the Jennifer Aniston -hair". There were so many magazines with articles which all displayed: "how to get the Jennifer Aniston-hair" etc.

So, have a trademark at your own risk? Did Robert Pattinson do the right thing? Is it better to get publicity for something rather than nothing, even if that something is just a question of hair?

I hope Robert Pattinson´s hair will be back to haunt us all very soon! :)

(Nevertheless..hairy or not - ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. I can´t believe I wrote about Robert Pattinson´s hair. I have hit a new low on this blog.

pps. April 29 really is too far away...

Hollywood & Beauty

Hey all!

Earlier today I was sitting by my computer looking at a photo of Robert Pattinson. There is no denying it; the guy is just so bloody handsome. Yes, Robert Pattinson does have lovely features (ok I am not going on about this all day even if I could).

However, my point is that he really is handsome. That is why he got the part of Edward Cullen, and not say Steve Buscemi. Beauty opens doors.

I am not saying that Robert Pattinson only got the part due to his appearance, but hey, let´s be honest here; Steve Buscemi would not ever have got that part (if one pretends that Steve Buscemi is like 20).

Beauty is important in Hollywood, but they are riding that wave because they know that it is important for us too. Have you ever seen a romantic movie with someone half-ok looking like Philip Seymour Hoffman (sorry Steve and Phil, I am just insulting everyone today).

However, the part (of Edward Cullen) required a really pretty actor. The book does say that Edward Cullen has perfect features. Robert Pattinson beat 5000 guys to get the part. Did he beat them mostly by his looks or his talent as an actor? In all of my naiveness - I am hoping for the latter one. Since I have only seen him in "Harry Potter" it would be too early for me to evaluate his work.

(Nevertheless...I believe in Robert Pattinson, I do believe him to be talanted - ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. There seem to be a seperation between character-actors and actors in the general sense. I have only heard half-ok looking guys being named character-actors. They are not riding on their looks so they are given an extra title; character-actors (people who can actually act?)
True fact?

The Robert Pattinson theory

Hey all!

I was talking to my friend Vic before. She is in love with the books AND has actually seen the movie "Twilight". I told her about my ´small´ obsession with Robert Pattinson. She told me then and there, straight up: "Well, I like Edward Cullen a lot more". True honesty. I love it.

Vic had just seen Robert Pattinson on a youtube-clip from when he appeared on ´the Ellen show´. She said that Robert Pattinson seemed like this confused funny guy, who did not understand how everything around him got so big..or something. Robert Pattinson really does not seem to be anything like Edward Cullen.

I have a theory that when an actor goes into character, so does his audience (how do I explain this one?). One almost thinks/believes/(hopes) that Robert Pattinson is Edward Cullen.

I have read somewhere that the character can almost overwhelm the actor. I think it was Julia Roberts who said that she always falls in love with her co-star, in say a romantic movie, because she is so overtaken by the feelings she has to portray in that movie. (Anyone feeling a bit lost? - for more confusion see my published works).

Maybe that theory could be applied to Robert Pattinson? He wanted to ´marry´/date his co-star Kristen Stewart. Did he really like her, or was he overtaken by Edward´s feelings for Bella?

Who knows really? (Nevertheless...ever thine!)

//Lil

Ps. Brilliant theory today. Should have applied so much energy into thinking about nonsense a long time ago.

Does it mean that Robert Pattinson is mental too?

Good day to all my readers! (I don´t have any readers - my blog is too pathetic for that).

I woke up today with that kind of feeling you get sometimes which says "what have I done?". I am kind of a level-headed, realistic apassionata who kind of thinks that most celebrities are shallow, perverts and a bit egocentric.

Celebrities really are that kind of group which we read tonnes about, but at the same time, have no idea who they really are. Right? Robert Pattinson could very well be one of the following scary things:

- Nazi
- Workoholic
-Racist
- Pervert
- Tory

Or he could just be a mix of the above (getting scary pictures of this in my head!)

Thinking about this I remember one episode from Sex & the City, when Charlotte says something like this to Carrie: "Do we ever really know the people we are involved with?" Well said Charlotte - spot on! Not enough people have the courage to show their true selves.

Here is something that might be true. I read in an interview yesterday that Robert Pattinson likes ´mentally strong women´ or something similar. Since I am just mental it wouldn´t have worked out. Or did he say ´mental & strong´? Better with option 2 for me! :) (Nevertheless...mental or not...ever thine!)

//Lil - the Apassionata

ps. I wish I could be more serious and write about something that actually matters than come off like an air-headed Bridget Jones.

The International Blog of Robert Pattinson day 1

January 11, 2008

It has fineally happened. I have gone quite mad I think. I have started a blog about English actor Robert Pattinson!

I don´t know why really, but I had to do something. I don´t want to call myself a fan beacuse I don´t think that I am one. Well..I am, but I wouldn´t say ´amen´ to everything he does, nor is he my favourite actor. I just like the guy in so many ways. :)

I remember first seeing him in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". I thought to myself then that : "this boy will become a very handsome and talanted man someday". Then a few years later he is suddenly there again in "Twilight", all grown up. As I am writing this I have to admit that I have not seen "Twilight" yet, just some clips. Me and my friend Jennie are the last on the planet to not have seen it. We have our local cinema to thank for that. The joys of living in a really small town...

I have of course read the books by Stephenie Meyer. Those painfully great books! I use that word, "painfully", because everything is painful about them. It´s painful when you have to put the books down, even for a moment, or you have come to the end, or when you even realise that there are no more books to read about the Cullens...

At this point, I know what someone from the outside would say: "Do you really like Robert Pattinson or just his characterization of Edward Cullen"? That is the main reason I think why many actors don´t date their fans. Am I right? Because in "Twilight", Robert Pattinson is the full embodiment of Edward Cullen.
I would like to think that I am honest with my readers, so I will simply say that I don´t know.

Another question: "Would I, or anybody really, have been so in to Robert Pattinson would it not have been for "Twilight"? Not a chance on the planet! One could easily make an evil circle here with question 1 and 2. :)

I think I am soon at the end with my first moments with this blog. I don´t claim to know a lot about Robert Pattinson. I am not that kind of fan. I will never keep track of when his birthday is, what sign he is, or where he lives. (But nevertheless..ever thine!)

//Lil

ps. This blog is ridicolous

pps. Since English is not my first language I hope that readers will oversee any grammatical or spelling errors that I am sure occurs frequently! :)
