Hey people!
Yesterday I got it! I am now a proud owner of a DVD featuring "Twilight". Now it really feels like the first book has gone full circle. Only three more to go!
I did something with this DVD that I have never done before; I watched the extra material. It was very interesting to see "the deleated scenes" as well as "the extended scenes". Seeing Rob Pattinson talking about his character Edward Cullen was not too bad either!
I just realised something very obvious. Rob Pattinson will always be Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart will always be Bella. It is relatable to my theory (see: "The Robert Pattinson theory"), but it is more than that. I am trying to grasp a point here. I read that the reason Rob doesn´t date is because he is so obsessed with Kristen Stewart. They did this movie together and have three more to go. Some kind of bond must no doubt exist between them now. Then it is always debatable how much that goes into this connection. Ok, this might seem like yibberish, but I know what I mean. Is not that what a blog is about? A person writing one and the person reading it doesn´t understand a thing. Only joking (better to write that out, people are blind to sarcastic irony most of the time). I can´t see why Kristen Stewart doesn´t want to date Rob really. It is like Bella choosing Mike Newton over Edward Cullen. It is just crazy. Übercrazy (no, I am not German).
(Nevertheless...crazy or not...ever thine!)
//Lil
Ps. Fresh news: Robert Pattinson doesn´t want to date apparently because he is afraid that he will mess up that girl´s life. An interesting observation, but I think a lot of girls would risk it. Shit happens all the time so why not take a chance? Or should we translate it as this?: It is Kristen Stewart or no one!

When I hear your voice
Hey people!
I am going to make a promise that I won´t keep. I am going to write in my blog more frequently. Yeah, that one is not going to last for very long...Apparently I know myself.
Did I mention that I got my books back from Jennie? She didn´t understand how I survived without them. I hardly did. Can hardly survive with having them here too. I got them from her like two weeks ago and I have read all four of them again. Just finished with "Breaking Dawn yesterday afternoon. I feel like reading them all again. There must be some magic attached to them. Maybe just burn them? Or not.
To jump from that burning subject to something else. I hear Robert Pattinson stink...apparently smell really bad. Maybe that is old news by now. I have not read that much about it since Rob gave his short reply to this, "I do shower". Simple and short. A good defence. I think he does shower. We all know he stopped washing his hair a while ago. Admit to anything controversial and that is what you get. "Oh yeah, he doesn´t shower his hair so that probably means that he doesn´t shower at all". A big load of ´bs´ if you ask me. Perhaps Perez Hilton should get some more reliable sources..? I read this one small comment that Rob has a problem with a gland. Supposedly he had multiple surgeries done to fix it. I don´t know. You can´t believe anything you read.
Well...true fact: no one is perfect! If Kelly Clarkson can take a piss in the shower, then Robert Pattinson can smell. That is right; they are just humans. Who has not pissed in the shower, or gone a couple of days without showering? Even stars have a human nature.
(Nevertheless...smelly or not...ever thine!)

Ps. My birthday is coming up, April 23. Nothing great about that, but it also means that April 29 is soon here!: Dvd- release for "Twilight".

The Twilight talk
Hey all!
(This piece is not freshhly written. I wrote this in my notebook like a month ago..and now fineally I write it here. Yawn at myself).
About a week (more like a month then) ago I talked to my friend Jennie. She admitted to have seen "Twilight" without me! Then I had to confess that I had done the same. She said that there were so many good DvD-rips out there now and I should download as well. I am not very hightechy, but I did and now I have seen Twilight soooo many times! Like the day after I downloaded it I watched it like three times, not in a row, but still. Or as my friend Vic said, "you are crazy, but I like you anyway".
I like the movie a lot really, but I can see that some lines are a little too much chopped out of their context. Like the scene where they have biology and Edward fineally introduces himself to Bella. It goes something like this:
E: Hello. I am Edward Cullen. You are Bella?
B: Yes.
The teacher gives out the assignment. Bella grabs the microscope, looks at Edward and says:
B: You were gone!
That was a pretty weird thing to say after just being introduced. Sure she was frustrated from Edward being totally weird in the first biology scene, but come on!
Anyway, I like the movie in itself, but to appreciate all the nuances, you have to read the books. I read this one review made by this culture wannabe bitch. She didn´t like the movie, but her problems with it mostly came from not reading the books I think. She said that the fang gang were strutting around like pretty models. The books do say that vampire have perfect features. There were many things she didn´t get. I have no problems with people disliking the movie or certain scenes, but hey, get the story right first!
(Nevertheless...right or not...ever thine!)
//Lil
Ps. I like Taylor Lautner more and more as Jacob Black. I am very interested to see how he will develop Black´s character in "New Moon".

For as long as we both shall breathe...
Hey all!
Guess what landed in the mailbox just this past Tuesday! Yes - "Breaking Dawn"! By Thursday I had read it through. I also had to do less important stuff too such as work..eat...sleep. The book was over too quickly!
Overall, I think it was very good. I love the relationship between Bella & Edward. Or rather, I love all the relationships in the books. They are so romantic in the way that they kind of mate for life, or for all etirnity that is. If Bella would die, Edward wouldn´t greef for six months and then move on. It is Bella or no one! That seems to be the case for almost every character - Carlisle & Esme, Alice & Jasper Hale etc.
The interesting thing about "Breaking Dawn" is that we as readers get a very pink picture of the whole vampire thing. Bella turns into a vampire and what happens? Nada! She doesn´t turn into a monster and no demon is taking over her body. Life is just super and they are all so very happy. Although new born vampires are impossible to control, Bella has an enormous force of self control. Bella told us herself that she thought she would lose some aspects of who she as, but she doesn´t change at all really. She is just a new member of the fang gang.
Another thing, don´t get me started with the whole Jacob thing. I am quite conflicted here. At one point I love the fact that Jacob got his mojo working for Nessie, but at the same time...that was very convenient. No more conflicts among themselves to work through except for external influences.
However, thinking about this I just remembered which age group this book is targeting. In my local book store it is on the shelf that says "youth books age 12-15". So...it is no wonder that solutions to conflicts are conveniently handled and the vampire thing toned down.
So now the Cullen saga is over(?) My friend Vic was talking about some fifth book that might come out. I would love for that rumour to be true. Soon I will buy the books in English as well and start all over. And must get my other books back from Jennie!
(Nevertheless...ever thine!)

Ps. With so many books about the Cullens, I am glad to say that Robert Pattinson has a long career as a vampire ahead of him! :)

If I Could Dream...
Hey all!
I was at my friend Vic the other day. She wanted us to have lunch together, and just like that she also mentions "oh yeah, I downloaded a cam-version of Twilight that we can watch". Knowing what cam-versions can be like (most of the time) I told her that I didn´t want to see Twilight with a disfunctional version. She convinced me that we should see it anyway since the cam-version wasn´t that bad. There you have it ladies and gentlemen! I have seen Twilight on an ok cam-version!
So what did I think? I think it was quite good overall. I don´t want to sound evil or jealous, but I am not too thrilled over Kristen Stewart as Bella. However, I like the casting in general, all the Cullens have the right actors. A character that I really came to love after seeing the movie was Bella´s dad! Loving the work done by the actor (don´t remember his name now).
So many ´movie experts´ have been criticizing the special effects and said that they were badly done, but I am totally disagreeing with that. So basically, I am right and they are wrong.
I think they could have done the film a bit longer, because some scenes felt a little bit chopped. Although, it must be a really difficult thing to do. You have a book which is filled with so much, and you kind of have to compress that, and still make it great..
I just thought about my friend Jennie. I can´t tell her that I have seen Twilight without her. But I am not sure that I will see her before the DVD comes out so it will be ok. She still have my books btw. The fourth book is coming out about 2 weeks!
Must mention another weird, funny thing. Just a couple of nights ago it was the Oscar´s. I googled it to see if Robert Pattinson had attended it. I kind of thought that I wouldn´t get any matches since maybe he wasn´t popular enough for that yet, but there he was giving interviews on the red carpet, presenting an award on stage and sitting just behind Michey Rourke! Ok, I get it - Robert Pattinson really is big in Hollywood. But, even though all of this was going on I basically looked at him and said out loud "yay, his hair isn´t that short"! Haha, I think Robert Pattinson´s hair will haunt me and him forever! :D
(Nevertheless...Oscar material or not...ever thine!)

Kiss & Tell
Hey all!
I have great news! At least great news for me. The last book is going to be released next month. I wanted to read it in my native tongue. As you can notice, I am not that comfy with English. ;) I am most definitely going to read them in English later on though. It will be like starting all over again. Neat!
I was talking to my friend Jennie the other day. I lent her the books (not an easy thing to do)! She thinks that the English titles really sucks. I kind of agree with her, they are not especially innovative. Furthermore, I think the translator made a smashing job. The titles in our language are super!
Now that Jennie started obsessing over these books she wants to see "Twilight" more than ever. I am right there with her! As mentioned before, Jennie and I are the last on the planet not to have seen it. Pathetic really. Or is it pathetic wanting to see it so badly? Can´t decide there really.
I did something the other day that I haven´t done for maybe 2 weeks. I googled Robert Pattinson. There were lots of news about him dating this girl Annelyse Schoenberger. The rumour has it that they have been dating since July last year. So all of those interviews where he was saying that no one wanted him; he was just basically lying? I have no problems with people lying, I guess he just wanted to protect his personal life BUT, he sounded so sincere about the whole thing. He was like a breath of fresh air. Maybe it was just another part to play?
If the rumour is true they have been dating for approx. 7-8 months. Hey, that is not dating - that is a relationship. I heard once that a relationship reaches a specific point after 8 months: either you are through with each other, nothing but a fling, or it deepens into that thing we call love. Which one will it be for you Robert Pattinson?
(Nevertheless..committed or not..ever thine!)

Ps. Nothing wrong with a bit of love. I hear that is all you need.

Final cut for Robert Pattinson?
Hey all!
I just read the most depressing thing! The dvd-release for "Twilight" is not until April 29! APRIL 29!! That is too far away...how can they torture me so? If I were to find a copy tomorrow and it was dubbed in Italian with only Japanese subtexting, I would still buy it. That is how bad/badly (I can´t decide which one..I so adore the English language sometimes...) I want to see it!
I am going to do a bit of a jump here. I found myself thinking about Robert Pattinson´s hair. Everyone is talking about it so why not me? It has been put off far too long. Me talking about Robert Pattinson´s hair is like the dvd-release.
I think... (drum rolls)...that Robert Pattinson should not have cut his hair! The main reason for this is that with short hair you can hardly see his wonderful hair colour. There is some colour in there which I love. Another reason: I think he looked better basically with a bit longer hair. It made him edgier, hotter, and more manly. This short hair gives him a bit of a boyish look to be honest.
Oh my God, I have adressed the issue of Robert Pattinson´s hair. My life is now fullfilled (sorry - bad sarcastic joke there).
I can understand him cutting it though. Maybe he started to feel that people were talking more and more about his hair and less about him as an actor? Perhaps it is a bit hazardous to have a trademark. People should foremost say how good you are on what you do and not focus on the external.
I remember a few years ago when Jennifer Aniston got really popular. But...people were not going on about how good of an actress she was on "friends", but how cool it would be to get "the Jennifer Aniston -hair". There were so many magazines with articles which all displayed: "how to get the Jennifer Aniston-hair" etc.
So, have a trademark at your own risk? Did Robert Pattinson do the right thing? Is it better to get publicity for something rather than nothing, even if that something is just a question of hair?
I hope Robert Pattinson´s hair will be back to haunt us all very soon! :)
(Nevertheless..hairy or not - ever thine!)

Ps. I can´t believe I wrote about Robert Pattinson´s hair. I have hit a new low on this blog.
